Orientation

Last July 23, 2018 it was our deployment. I was assigned in Hand Prints School of Progressive Education to observe. As we arrived to Hand Prints School, we had our orientation first before they allow us to observe in their school. During the orientation Mr. Jonard Yamsuan the HR of the school was the one who oriented us, and he discussed about the rules and regulations of the school that we should follow during our observation.
  • No using of cellphone
  • Don't chat to the teacher if it's not necessary
  • Don't come late (be on time)
  • As permission before taking of picture
  • Confidentiality of the student (face/s of the student should not be shown)
Orientation is very important, to know the things that we should do and don't during our observation, because as a future educator we should be the person who knows how to follow rule, because we are the one that serves to be the role model for the student.

Self Introduction

Hello! I'm Nichole G. Lingad, I'm 18 years old. I am a pre-service teacher, currently taking up Bachelor of Elementary Education major in Special Education at Holy Angel University. To be honest, teaching is not my first choice, but my auntie said that it is in-demand. So I enrolled Education major in Values Education because that day I was looking for the major MAPEH because I love the health subject, but there is BPE major and I think BPE is only about Physical Education, so I have to choose between Biosci and Values Ed. major, then I take values ed. as my major because I thought it was an easy subject "before", and that time I really don't know what to take. When I was in 2nd year college my auntie find out that there is Special Education major at Holy Angel University, so I shifted to Special Education major.

When my journey start as a future Special Education teacher, little by little I starting to love and understand what Special Education means. Now that I'm 4th year college, I am very sure to my chosen profession, and I can't wait to enter the teaching field to teach/help those individual with special needs to be independent. Thank you to those people who opened my heart to children with special needs especially to all my professor in Special Education major.
